Florence, San Gimignano Pre-Wedding Photography | Tuscany, Italy | Hedi + Zoltan

Hedi and Zoltan are from Budapest, Hungary, but they chose the stunning region of Tuscany, Italy, to host their dream wedding. They scheduled the wedding ceremony for Friday, so the day before, we had the opportunity to capture their pre-wedding photos in Florence and the surrounding Tuscan countryside. We were truly captivated by the breathtaking architecture of Florence, particularly the Florence Cathedral, located in the grand Piazza del Duomo. The temperature soared to an intense 35°C, and the square was crowded with visitors. It was quite a challenge to take beautiful wedding photos amidst such a large crowd, but I managed to get creative by lying on the hot stone floor, shooting upwards to avoid the crowds and capture the perfect shots.
We strolled through the charming streets of Florence, photographing the couple in various iconic spots, including the famous Ponte Vecchio (Old Bridge). Our journey then took us to Piazzale Michelangelo, high on Michelangelo Hill, where we captured some of the most stunning views of Florence and took some of the most beautiful wedding photos.
After leaving Florence in the afternoon, we drove to San Gimignano, known as the Town of Fine Towers, famous for its medieval architecture and towering structures perched on a hilltop. We ventured out of the town to find a vineyard with the town and its historic towers as a backdrop for more wedding photos. We continued our journey, photographing the couple against the classic Tuscan landscape, capturing the essence of this picturesque region. Though we were exhausted by the end of the day, we succeeded in creating a diverse and beautiful collection of wedding photos throughout Florence and Tuscany.

Please see part two, you can view the photos from the actual wedding day here.
